About Nick

Nick Elliott

Nick graduated with a BSc Hons in Internet Computing from the University of Lincoln in the summer of 2010. His key interests since he was a teenager was website development, networking solutions and ICT in general. During his educational journey, Nick has achieved a number of different ICT qualifications, including the CISCO CCNA course during his A-Level studies. Nick initially started developing websites and providing ICT support to his friends and family in order to provide himself with an additional source of income whilst he was completing his studies at university. Whilst doing this, Nick was able to gain valuable experience and further expand on the skills he was gaining through his university studies.

Since Nick graduated, he has supported ICT systems in the educational sector, for both Cromwell Community College in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire and Dell Computers Inc on the Cambridgeshire Building Schools for The Future account. In the summer of 2014, Nick moved to further develop his career in Lincoln at another education establishment where he was solely responsible for the college’s ICT infrastructure. Nick is now enjoying the challenge of support ICT in the charity sector at The Woodland Trust which allows him to further enhance his skill set which he has learnt and continues to update to the latest standards as the technology is forever evolving.

When Nick was younger he also worked with his father on his mobile disco business and he also discovered he liked working on the technical aspects, which led to him being involved with technical productions at his school. Since Nick’s move to Lincoln, he has been involved with a number of amateur dramatics groups both in Lincoln and the surrounding area providing both sound and lighting for the society’s productions.
